Welcome & Thank You for your interest in submitting an application to Nuffield Canada for a scholarship and the opportunity to join the international Nuffield family.
The Nuffield Canada Scholarship is a prestigious program available to mid-career Canadian citizens who are involved in agriculture, in any capacity of primary production, industry or governance. This $30,000 CAD scholarship provides individuals with a unique opportunity to:
Access the world’s most extensive peer-to-peer network in agriculture and the agri-food value chain,
Achieve topic expertise and personal development through travel and study, and
Deliver long-term benefits to Canadian farmers and rural comunities, and to their industry as a whole.
Each year scholarships are awarded to individuals who are expected to share what they have learned and assume positions of greater influence in their field in the future.
Application Deadline: June 30th (11:59 p.m. Eastern)
Each Scholar will be entering into an agreement with Nuffield Canada. It is highly recommended that you review the following two documents.

Study Topic Cover Letter
This one-page cover letter should explain your study topic in detail and include:
- Reasons you think this topic is important and timely to Canadian agriculture,
- The value a Nuffield Scholarship would bring to this topic, and
- The potential impact you foresee your topic having on the future of agriculture in Canada.
